Alexander DC Reeds are favored by professionals who need a lot of power and push their reeds to the limit of their dynamic capabilities. Superial "DC" Reeds have a slightly harder tip and more wood in the heart than the original Superial, creating a more solid tonal core and enhanced power and projection. Alexander DC reeds have a little darker harmonic timbre than Superial, but still retain the edge needed in lead or solo work.
