Vandoren V12 reeds are specifically designed for the advanced clarinet player and are available for Bb Clarinet. They provide a rich tone and unparalleled control. Vandoren V12 reeds are manufactured from cane tubes with the same diameter as cane used for saxophone reeds. This leads to a higher manufacturing cost, as large diameter cane is more rare. Vandoren V12 Reeds are thicker at each end. Comparing strengths, a V12 #4 reed is almost equal to Traditional #3.5 reed.
