Vandoren V16 Reeds have a thicker tip and a longer pallet than the Traditional Vandoren reeds and were launched in 1993 to answer the demand of some American jazz musicians. Vandoren V16 Reeds sound more brilliant, more percussive, particularly well adapted to all the new styles of music. Vandoren V16 Reeds are available for Soprano, Alto, and Tenor Saxophones.
